Your spirit does not go anywhere. I can get techanical, but during your sleep you have a few stages of sleep. The one you dream in is called REM. You just miss the great times you had and could of have. The reason you keep dreaming about it because you most likely think about it before you go to bed. Some people believe they have out of the body experiences, but no one has yet to prove it.
Well personally I can’t prove anything, but it has been my experience that we don’t neccessarily travel (as we know it, physically travel) in our dreams; however this is not to say that spirits don’t travel to us.
One of the hardest things about our dreams is the fact that we can’t seem to remember them. Is the person in your dreams really your husband, or does your mind just put that image in your head because that is what you desire? I personally feel that if you really concentrates on these dreams, they will guide you in your path. Of course it all depends on your inturpritation of your dream as well. Were you really with who you think you were, did you really go to a specific location; or was it someone else in a totally different place.
I believe our dreams is where our ancestors spirits come to us and help guide us. They also come when we are not sleeping, we just are not aware (in tune) to it. There are some that can get in tune with those spirits and communicate with them, which is a power that most of us poses we just don’t know how to use it (Has something to do with that 90% of the brain we don’t use). There are some that are more inclined to have the ability than others. It takes a lot of understanding of concepts most of us can not grasp; however, this does not mean it doesn’t exsist. It also depends on how strong of a bond those spirits have with you, but ultimately they are here to help you.
I have found that what those spirits are presenting to us may not be as it seems. When you wake you may think you just had a dream about your husband and being with him, when in reality it wasn’t about that at all, it was just something you could relate to in order to show you something else.
If you are of native american decent, I recomend contacting some of the elders of the tribe; and if not I recommend seeking some. They seem to have the best grasp on the spiritual realm. You may also want to consider doing the vision quest. Once you have a better understanding of that you may see things differently, and who knows, maybe you possess the ability to not only communicate with the spiritual realm but to travel with it as well. If you get educated on the subject by them you may find that there is a lot more you can do. In the mean time, try to pay as close attention to your dreams as you can and keep an open mind as to its inturpritation and how else it may apply to you.
Sweetie, nothing happens to your spirit when you sleep, you are a spirit you don’t “own” one.You can …rest… assured you don’t travel anywhere when you dream. Sleep is our bodies way to recoup and get strong for the next day. Usually when you dream about something it’s because you are thinking about that thing a lot. It’s obvious you miss your x and if dreaming about him makes you happy then I’m glad you can have your wonderful dreams. Try this. Before you go to sleep think about something else for at least 20 minutes, something nice and soft like a warm breeze blowing across your face as your walking down a garden path. Think to yourself that you can smell the flowers. Theres something waiting for you at the end of the path, something so exciting you can hardly wait. Let me know how it works. Also spray some lavender spray or sprinkle some soft scented powder next to your pillow. Try some warm tea or milk right before you go to sleep. I would like to know what you find at the end of the path. Happy dreams. ladyborn24216/@yahoo.com
