My efc is zero. So far i havent had to deal with student loans since my efc is zero and i attend a community college. but my two years of community college is up this year and im going out of the city to a four year univ (but still in state). im really worried about going to an university because i don’t want to be in major debt with student loans and all. is there anything i could do to change this. is work study better than finding my own job? is living on campus cheaper than apartments? what about the food on campus? there is this school i was planning on going to that gives students that families make under $40000 a year free tuition but its a commuter campus and i would prefer a school that has more school spirit. should i settle to be debt free? What are the suggestions to cheaper living and less debt for college?
