Lord NeXuS M00N asked:

shouldn’t the free will part allow you to reject Gods dominance over you soul. So he would be unable to put you in hell or heaven and your spirit would be lost in some middle ground.

If you answer that is is not possible that means you never had free will in the first place and you are gods slave? no?

*Hug* to all those who answered.

  • Skelp says:

You have free will on Earth….

  • Wired says:

Free will is a human construct. God said to A&E of the Tree, “Do not eat from it”. How one gets “free will” from that is anyone’s guess.

  • Sick Puppy says:

You can reject his dominance over your soul all you want, that’s just the thinking part. You need to actualize it and that’s a different story altogether.

  • thinkin' out loud says:

Sorry. It’s free will with conditions. Didn’t you read the fine print?

  • Isabella says:

God Who created us gave us this Free will.
We can use it to serve Him or satan.
In refusing Jesus Christ, you’ve made your choice already.
There is a price to be paid.
    Chose life or death.
    God or satan.
You actually do have a choice in the matter.
Besides they’re are only 2 forces in this world,God or satan.

  • BrotherMichael says:

humans have limited free will. God has unfettered free will. Man cannot limit nor stop God exercising His “free will”, but God certainly can interfere and stop your free will. The book of Jonah shows this. There is no middle ground, either you serve God or you serve Satan, although you may not think you do. Either you belong to God, are one of His children, or your master is another. There are no human “free agents”, you are either in one camp or the other. There is nothing you or anyone can do to stop or limit God from exercising His will. Either God will draw you to Him, to be one of His, or He will allow you to continue your life without His interference, and die with sins unforgiven. There is only one destination for those who die unforgiven, we both know where that is.

well free will is the ablitiy to make ur own actions with out the inforcement of others. you are the creation of gods life as you are the creation of both of your partents. on earth then can guild u on what u need to do and all the good you can recive in the world, reject them you can but they still have some say until they decide to let you go. your soul belongs to god until you have proven your self or him not worthy to recive the blessing he has then you are free to do what ever. but theres never a middle in anything theres one or the other. one is just a easier route to go down, for the person.

    i don’t know

  • Sean H says:

    You’d think so, but no.

Actually, I just thought of something. Say you get into Heaven, and when you get there, you decide that you don’t believe in God. The fact that a nonbeliever is in Heaven would probably create some sort… thing that would destroy everything. Like in Dogma, how those angels were trying to get into Heaven, and if they did, they’d be proving God wrong, and in doing that make everything disappear. If all of that religion stuff really is true, I wonder if that could happen.

I can’t say it any better than Isabella did. You either choose God or you choose Satan. It is an unavoidable truth. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

  • Regina T says:

Hell is living without God. So it doesn’t matter if God sends you away or if you leave on your own FREE WILL. You will be utterly alone for eternity.

  • killowen05 says:

God gave you free will to know right from wrong. So to follow his commandments you will know what is right and wrong. This is basic human stuff. No God, No Peace, Know God, Know Peace. Free will is not to do wrong. You have the choice but if you do wrong then there are consequences. Doing wrong never feels right. You might convince yourself that it is o.k. to do wrong but it will come back to haunt you somewhere along the line. So free will is to accept Jesus Christ the Son of God. If you are young study and you will find the answers. Pray.

  • toGodbetheglory says:

God made us. He gave us life. He doesn’t force us to love him. We make our own choices. He longs for us to love him and to choose him and live forever with him in paradise. Satan is the culprit you should be talking about here. He want to decieve you by putting thoughts in your head like this so you will turn against God and go with him and live forever in torment.
Satan despises God so much and we are meerly collateral damage and not given a second thought when he ruins our lives. He’s gotten another good one in on God so he is happy. Even if We burn in hell forever.

The thing your missing here is that following God is a good life. It is by no means boring, sad, lonely, or anything else that might negatively be thought. It is a full life of happiness, joy, peace, love and pleasure. So there is no need to find excuses.

  • Everard G says:

If there is a god there is NO free will.
If there is free will there is NO god.

  • Jon says:

You can choose to go to heaven or hell. You can choose to serve God or satan. If you refuse to serve God then you automatically serve satan wheather you know it or not.

  • Jani says:

When you have already accepted the idea that you are but one of God’s creatures on this earth, what you refer to as your FREE WILL will be very subjective. Yes, you ARE indeed free to do what you like, BUT there shall be a price for everything you do, good or bad.

The word FREE has various unimplied connotations; it is never really FREE my friend. For example, when someone makes an offer of a FREE gift to you when you purchase a product or item, the cost of that FREE gift has already been bundled into your purchase price (which is fixed), Or ’someone’ else has already paid for it.

The only difference here is God gives you a FREE will to choose as well, by making use of your intelligence. If you make the wrong choice it shall be entirely you; and only you are to be blamed, not God!

  • ChosenOne23 says:

Okay look, there is no in between.
God doesn’t put people in hell or heaven.
    We do so ourselves.
God put before us a CHOICE of life or death, choose life.
We have the choice whether we go to heaven or to hell.
    I have free will.
You wanna know how I know humans have free will.
    Because people have been murdered.
    People have stolen things before.
    Adam and Eve sinned.
    Noah sinned.
    Everyone has sinned.
If we didn’t have free will, then none of these things would have occured.
IF God said everything we did, there would be nothing wrong with this world.
    God gives us the choice.
you haven’t made that decision yet, but I have.
And now I know the difference between life and death.
    GOD LOVES YOu!!!!=)
    IT’S JC ON MINE!!!!!!=)

  • Peggy Pirate says:

Rejecting God doesn’t mean that he puts you in hell.

Rejecting God means that you cannot stand to be in his presence.

God is holy and it hurts an unholy soul to be in the presence of a holy God

In the presence of the holy God you see who you are

and you leave the presence of God all by yourself because the pain is unbearable.

  • PFuller says:

Does sound a little more Godfather than God. You know… an offer you can’t refuse.
