I would say don’t think too much about it. I know it’s hard but it often comes when you stop putting too much thought in it…

Put god first in your life and he will send you a loving,caring and respectful spouse and in the end it will be worth all the wait.
Depends on what you mean by trust. You probably won’t trust someone completely the moment that you meet them regardless of who that person is. Get to know someone slowly and take your time. Don’t be in a rush just because you’re afraid that there’s no time left. If you rush the relationship, you’ll find out that you’re getting close to someone you don’t feel you can trust. Talking helps, too. After you meet someone and get to know them, tell them how you feel. They might even feel the same way!
hun your considered middle age it runs from 30s to 65 and you don’t have to be thinking about death and don’t worry if you worry less and live your life like you would want that special person will soonly find you and make you feel amazing you just need some time and trust me you still have a ways to go and you will find that person i guarantee it

Trust is a difficult issue at our age…(too many bad experiences)…but there are good people out there…it just takes time to find them!
