I’m telling this cause i was so addicted to that thing and when i accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour i stopped doing it..It’s been almost 10 months and it seems amazing how the Holy spirit changed my life.Just be born again in the lord and u will never sin like this before.Satan controls so many and whoever tries 2 stop doing it by himself it’s impossible cause Satan will lead him again!But with Jesus there is no sin or guilty feelings.Wanna be free from sin?Accept him as your Saviour!The new spirit that gives u doesn’t follow the desires of the flesh!

Did you ever wonder why when pastors come out of Pentacostal seminary that they can all do that slain in the spirit thing? That just doesn’t set right with me. Don’t get me wrong. I love to worship at Pentacostal churches. And I speak in tongues privately. I don’t believe they all have this “gift” before they enter seminary, but they all or most have it after. Spiritual gifts shouldn’t be based on whether you went to bible school or not. They should be given to those the Spirit chooses to give them to. It just doesn’t seem right to me. What do you think? And feel free to state your opinion on being “slain in the Spirit” because it’s not biblical and that doesn’t set right in me either.
I didn’t say that only pastors have spiritual gifts. But they all slay in the spirit. The parishoners don’t.
how do u know ur getting harassed by a spirit and if u are how do u get it to go away and i know u don’t use jesus’ name? cuz i’ve been feelin like someone is watching me at nite in my room in front of my closet door and i sleep w/ my tv set on for the light and i’m not scared of the dark just what might be in it and i grew out of being scared of the dark now i’m 18 so if u have more Q’s about this feel free to e-mail me.sorry about the spelling there’s no spell check.thanx.:)

Gal 5:19-23 reads:
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
I have known many non-Christians that strongly display the fruits of the Spirit and not the deeds of the flesh. Moreover the manifestation of these virtues seems to be imbedded in the person’s spirituality.
What would be the source of these fruits in the life of a non-Christian?
shouldn’t the free will part allow you to reject Gods dominance over you soul. So he would be unable to put you in hell or heaven and your spirit would be lost in some middle ground.
If you answer that is is not possible that means you never had free will in the first place and you are gods slave? no?

We are never alone….and that’s the truth.
Remember you have a spirit now trapped in your body, and when your body dies your spirit is free and not dead. Your spirit is basically the same, just without the body. So your free spirit now, your spirit communicated before, who says your spirit cannot communicate after the body has died.
So why would a person be consider nuts, laughed at and looked down at if they have the ability to see, touch, hear, sense, communicate to spirits. Usually it’s them spirits that come to communicate because they are concern for you, or they felt your concerns. Usually loved ones, spirit guides, and angels.
I am talking good spirits here, not bad…..yes there is bad ones too, but they are not all bad like some seem to think. Due to lack of experience and understanding of the power of God’s unlimited spiritual world….yes God is in control of it all.

I consider the controversies in interpretations of predestination and free will are caused by positions taken by the writers or apostles of the epistles and letters to Churches or individual believers. Supposed, the Bible is now consisting of the full OT but NT with only the four gospels and perhaps the Acts and Revelation, will this arrangement help to eliminate or close up the stands of those who support predestination and reject free will in every life? However, the value and messages and advices in the epitles written for the believers can be retained as guide book.
As I see, the epitles writters are greatly honoured by what they have written than those written for Jesus. Jesus has said that the Master is always higher than the pupils or disciples. And so the teachings of Jesus should always be primary reference for our faith and understanding of God’s will. Jesus said the Holy Spirit will show believers (everyone) the truth. Even God wants all eyes to be on Jesus alone.
Autism is a genetic condition, so those with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) have no control over it. Part of the way an autistic mind works is an inability to comprehend things which are outside one’s direct experience. This broadly relates to autistic theory of mind. This means that when an autistic person is witnessed to, it is unlikely approaching impossible that ‘the word’ can be understood. Even if this person is ‘pricked by the spirit’ it would not be possible to relate this to god, being an external and abstract concept.
Now I’m not saying it’s impossible for a person with an ASD to become a christian – certainly for a time I was, and I have Asperger’s Syndrome – although perhaps the assertion that I was never a ‘true christian’ is valid. In my experience of knowing 30 individuals with an ASD, not one of them was a christian. I understand that a sample of 30 is not neccessarily representative.
Given this ‘disability’ to believe, do people with ASD get a free pass ?

full gospel shirley: Actually I do not think I am capable. I tried for 15 years to be a christian and follow god. I always thought there was something missing, something I just did not ‘get’. Eventually I came to the conclusion that there was no god. If I am incapable of understanding and experiencing god, it follows that my ‘fall from grace’ was inevitable. I am left with this conundrum:
Is it that god does not exist or is it that I am unable of detecting and responding to his reality?
From my perspective they look exactly the same. Can you understand that?
I do, in fact, have a theory of mind. It was hard won and one of my greatest victories. I was 12 years old before I began to understand that other people were not a figment of my imagination. I was 26 years old before I was able to think in ’shades of grey’. It took 14 years to develop theory of mind, so I think it fair to say that I am not an easy quitter. Intelligence, articulation and perseverance were not enough.
spitchus & JP: Lots of people with ASD do indeed consider themselves ’spiritual’. I think it may be a simple human reaching out to something – anything. However making a connection is a different story.
Aahotep: I’d forgotten how little the thief had to do to be accepted. I had done that much myself, so perhaps I was saved. The thing is, without the spirit (or awareness of the spirit) there was no way for me to stay faithful in what appeared to me as a sterile, empty belief.
Through reiki and chakras I do now have a spiritual awareness and an understanding of the mechanism of prayer / meditation / energy. So things are not now as they once were for me. It is possible that I *do* now have the ability to detect and respond to god/spirit (if it exists). At some point in the very near future I will attempt to contact god again and see what happens.
My empiricism is being put to the test.
Why are some of you fighting against the great loving spirit, When it’s the CORRUPT world leaders you should be worried about, stop complaining how you got here in this world, its your own god given free will, we are not robots. Just get your self out of your situation, and try and make this a better world for our future generations. cause you might be one of those reborn.
