We have had a few disagreements, which is another thing that is wonderful. We actually talk about the issues instead of blowing up and breaking up. For the first time, I realized that you can have a disagreement and talk about WITHOUT having to cause DRAMA or break up.

well you do sound like you have a perfect relationship with him, so it sounds like your probably in love with him and the perfect relationship.

Going just by what you’re saying, you’re in love with the newness of the relationship right now. You’re only a month in, it’s still fresh and new. In about another month you’ll begin to notice stuff that people would consider ‘faults.’
Right now he’s the perfect guy who can do no wrong. But soon, you will both feel completely comfortable with one another and not feel the need to have to impress each other so hard like you’re all doing now.
Maybe he doesn’t hang up his coat when he comes home from work. Maybe he tells off-color jokes. Maybe he is unemployed and is ashamed to tell you. Maybe none of these. But you will start to notice his quirks and idiosyncrasies after the newness wears off.
If you can love him in spite of his faults and still feel as crazy as you do about him, then you know that it’s him you love.

Wow I have just had the same thing happen to me. We met about 4 months ago after both of us got out of very long term marriages (him 20yr, me 15yrs) I am 38 he is 40. We clicked right away and he is the most amazing man! I’ve never had anyone appreciate me like he does. The things he says to me…. Anyway this is the man I have dreamed about my whole life. Give it some time, the relationship is still new and you are in the infatuation stage, after things settle down you will know for sure. But he sounds like a keeper! Good luck
